PTA Reps, Roles and Contacts

Class Rep

PTA Chair

The Class Rep is an integral part of the school community. Open to working and non-working parents. A new class rep is appointed each school year.

The Class Rep liaises between parents and teachers on non-academic matters. It is a fun role and a good opportunity to bring fellow parents together with social gatherings and school events. Rep responsibilities include reminders of class and PTA fundraising events, arranging coffee mornings with your class and organising Christmas and Summer class parties.

The PTA Chair works with the school to ensure the needs of the Thomas’s community are represented by:

  • Providing an active but informal communication link between parents and the school on non-academic matters.

  • Supporting the school’s commitment to the local community and charitable organisations.

  • Organising events and activities for children and parents to build a strong community.
